If Aux. contact of MV C.B. is open, related L.V. C.B. can not be closed.
Automatic operation : ( Selector switch is in Auto. Position.)
1- All circuit breakers are inserted and open. If Undervoltage relays show Voltage U > % 90* Un ( 380 V ) under CB #1 and CB #2, trip contacts of these relays are open.
Since there is no voltage on main busbar of switchboard, trip contacts of undervoltage relays which are located two sides of bus tie C.B. are closed.
2- If trip contacts of CB #1 and CB #2 are open, it means that there is no fault occurred before. After a time delay ( 2 s. ), CB #1 & CB #2 C.B.,s will be closed.
3- When there is a voltage fault over INCOMING #1 measured by respective undervoltage relay and there is confirmation of voltage in the other line, CB #1 will be open. After a time delay ( 2 s. ) , TIE CB will be closed.
When CB #1 is either test or disconnected position, TIE CB will be closed after a time delay ( 2 s. ), regardles of voltage presence over INCOMING #1.
If CB #1 has been open due to trip , TIE CB can not be closed unless problem is solved.
If CB #1 opens because of aux. supply fault, TIE CB will be closed after a time delay ( 2 s. ), regardles of voltage presence over INCOMING #1.
4- When there is a voltage fault over INCOMING #2 measured by respective undervoltage relay and there is confirmation of voltage in the other line, CB #2 will be open. After a time delay ( 2 s. ) , TIE CB will be closed.
When CB #2 is either test or disconnected position, TIE CB will be closed after a time delay ( 2 s. ), regardles of voltage presence over INCOMING #2.
If CB #2 has been open due to trip , TIE CB can not be closed unless problem is solved.
If CB #2 opens because of aux. supply fault, TIE CB will be closed after a time delay ( 2 s. ), regardles of voltage presence over INCOMING #2.
Manuel operation : ( Selector switch is in Man. Position.)
1- All circuit breakers are inserted and open.
2- CB #1 and CB #2 can be closed by pressing related pushbuttons.
3- When there is a voltage fault over INCOMING #1 and there is confirmation of voltage in the other line, CB #1 can be open by pressing related pushbutton.
After opening CB #1, TIE CB can be closed by pressing pushbutton.
If CB #1 has been open due to trip, Fault signal should be observed and the reason which caused this trip should be investigated. TIE CB can not be closed unless trip signal is resetted.
4- When there is a voltage fault over INCOMING #2 and there is confirmation of voltage in the other line, CB #2 can be open by pressing related pushbutton.
After opening CB #2, TIE CB can be closed by pressing pushbutton.
If CB #2 has been open due to trip, Fault signal should be observed and the reason which caused this trip should be investigated. TIE CB can not be closed unless trip signal is resetted.
